Girl in the Woods Blog Planner - Review

In a former career of mine, we had a saying....

K.I.S.S.

Keep it simple, sweetie.

My life is crazy, hectic, loco, BI-ZEE.  I have one date book that I use that I fondly refer to as my "second Bible".  If anyone ever asks me to do something, go somewhere, make an appointment, etc my first response is "I'll check my datebook and get back to you".  Seriously, I don't know what I'm doing from one day to the next if I don't check my datebook.  I've tried to keep a calendar on my smartphone, but I'm just old fashioned in this way.  I like my paper datebook.

I write reviews and columns for a variety of different websites and marketing companies.  It can get crazy sometimes trying to keep track of what is due, when it's due, and for who it is due.  So, I needed something outside of my datebook that would be just for my blogging and reviews.  But, remember my motto....

K.I.S.S.

So, in my quest to find a blog planner I knew that it had to be simple.  I've seen planners that were 20, 40, even 80 pages long.  Oh, make my head spin!  Then, I came across a one page blog planner.  Amen!  Each page was just what I needed to keep track of my reviews and columns for one month.

Here is a picture of my blog post planner page for March 2013.  My goal is to have at least two posts a week on my blog.  That doesn't always happen, but now that I have my planner I think it will happen a lot more.  So, basically, I am putting the date of the day of that week.  Then, I put the name of the post or the review item I am doing, indicating if it is just an article, just a post, or if it is a review and/or giveaway.  Lastly, I make a note of where it is for!  Remember, I mentioned that I write for different places.  This will help me keep track of it all.  Of course, you can tailor your blog planner page to your taste, but this one will surely help you to K.I.S.S.
Ain't it purdy :) Bwahahahaha, I said ain't! Well, anyway. You can find it over at the blog Girl in the Woods. It's an easy download and then you can just print one out each month, or better yet, go ahead and print 12 and just staple them together. Voila! You have your blog planner for the year! And, it's FREE. Yup, FREE! How sweet is that?!
