Drawing Class with Kid Creations - Week 4

Boo Hoo!  This week was the 4th and final week of Beginner's Drawing Class with Becky Brooks of Kid Creations.  The boys had such a great time and I have definitely seen improvement in Matthew's drawing.  This week, Becky taught the boys about symmetry.  Here is a pic of one of the exercises she did with them and Matthew's practice with symmetry. 

I was quite impressed with this!  Then, Becky asked the boys to draw a symmetrical two headed fish along with a landscape (to tie in with week 2 class).  Here is Matthew's creation.

Interesting!  Matthew said that his fish was not in water, but rather in the desert.  After all, two headed fish don't even exist so his can live wherever he wants them to.  HaHa.  Yup, that sounds right!

Thanks, Becky, for a wonderful experience with art.  Matthew learned so much and I know his confidence is better.  You're the best!
