Today marked Matthew's 3rd lesson in Beginner's Drawing with Becky Brooks of
Kid Creations. The children were taught some of the basics of drawing faces. Above is a pic of Matthew working on his creation. He said he was making the face of the face he was trying to draw. I love that my son is a goofy goober. Here is the final picture...you decide...any resemblance?
I love the creativity. Blue ears, black nose. Interesting. Now, below is a picture of a full body portrait. We've come a long way from the stick figures being drawn only a couple of weeks ago. Go, Matthew!
Red ears, green nose. Love it! It's been wonderful to watch Matthew explore his creative side. He has really gotten more comfortable with just trying his best and not worrying about being perfect. We should all do that a little more often. Agree?
