Worship at church this morning was so good.  So refreshing.  So filled with hope.

I needed it.

This song really gripped my heart in the place where my spirit is the only thing that can cry out to my Lord.  No matter what my life is like - filled with struggle or riding easy -  I need you, Jesus.  I need Him to come to my rescue every day.

A Song in My Heart ~ Need You Now

The past weeks have been a wear on my knees.  Crying out to my God, my Savior, my Comfort.  Imagine the groaning spirit of a mother; the desperate cries of a wife; the lost heart of a daughter.

That's me.

Have you been there?  Have you been to that place where primal cries of your spirit replace the tears that seem all too human?  There I am....in the shower, in the closet, at the foot of my bed crying out to the only One who can save me.  Help me, Father!  Change my story!

A Song in My Heart ~ "Savior I Come"

I love music.  It fills my heart and soul.  It stirs in me deep emotions.  I can rarely listen to worship music without an "emotional reaction".  You know what I'm talking about....

Tears

Tears of sadness, tears of joy, tears of gratitude, and tears of simple awe of my Savior.  So, as I hear different songs that have special meaning to me, I am going to share about them here.  Then, you too can be blessed in your day.

Lord, don't ever let me forget from where You have brought me.  Humble me to my knees and rid me of the selfish flesh that can burden me.  I belong to You and I ask that You mold me into the daughter You desire for me to be.  Lead me to the cross daily and on the days when my weakness is too great, I pray that you will then carry me.  Amen.
