The recommended age for this book is 4 to 8 and when I was first asked to review it I thought it would be a perfect gift for my 3.5 year old niece. Now, I'm not so sure!
My 14 year old son had his nose buried in it and was enjoying these beautiful stories of truth. Shhhhh! Don't tell his friends or he may never forgive me ;)
He does love his little cousin, so I still think he will give it to her to enjoy.

The cover is strong, the binding is tight, and the pages are slightly thicker and glossy which gives them a little more ability to withstand little hands.
